How does my team look? WHIR

Postby NWilli » Tue Sep 07, 2010 4:51 pm

12 team league, we start 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 RB/WR, 1 TE, 1 D/ST, 1 K, and have 7 bench players. Standard ESPN.com scoring, non-PPR. I had the first pick.

QB's: Kevin Kolb, Kyle Orton

RB’s: Adrian Peterson, Arian Foster, LaDainian Tomlinson, Justin Forsett

WR’s: Miles Austin, Calvin Johnson, Mike Wallace, Malcom Floyd, Mohamed Massaquoi, Laurent Robinson, Louis Murphy

TE: Jermichael Finley
K: Robbie Gould
DEF: Miami

I realize I've got a shitload of WR's and not too many RB's. I might try to make a trade for depth there, in case the carries in NY and SEA aren't split the way I was hoping. Hightower or Bradshaw might be potential targets.

Anyways, what does everyone think?

EDIT: Wow, forgot my QB's. Added.

I think youre looking fairly good; would have gone with more rbs in the draft but there are going to be so many runs in NYJ that tomlinson MAY function as a rb3 effectively. Wallace is a good pick once big dumb ben returns (I made this pick also). If Bradshaw is on the waiver wire grab him because he was named the starter recently.

Dont see a qb so im hoping that you have rodgers or brees then your solid as hell.

My mistake, I added my QB's. The starter's going to be Kolb; around 7 QB's were off the board by the end of round 2 (my second and third picks) so I passed on one for a while.

Unfortunately, the draft was yesterday, so Bradshaw was drafted. I might try to target him for a trade though; he's on the same team as Hightower in my league.

Your only real weaknesses are your lack or RB depth and your QB's aren't fully proven. I wouldn't worry too much about your QB situation because I'm willing to be that at least one of those 2 has a great year

I like your team, and it's potential. Obviously Kolb is unknown at this point, but he's in a great system, with good players around him, to be successful. Foster may end up being a stud at RB to assist AP.

WR is your strength, no question.

Overall, very good job.
