Trade involving some BIG TIME players! WHIR!!!!

Postby demon22 » Wed Sep 08, 2010 10:27 pm

I was just offered this trade in a PPR league:

I get:
Tom Brady
Ryan Grant

I give:
Chris Johnson
Mike Wallace

This is a 2 QB league where i have Peyton Manning and Matt Ryan. Obviously, I'm going to try and send Ryan elsewhere to upgrade at another position. I have the pieces to make a package deal with Ryan and some secondary players, so what do you guys think?

I like it, CJ had too many miles last year, I think he will not repeat last year's numbers.

I like the deal. a duo of manning and brady is lethal as your two qbs to start. Ryan Grant no matter in a ppr league or not, is a top 10rb who plays on a great team who will score alot.... Wallace while he can be very good might turn out to be only a flex player especially with big ben out 4 games. CJ is an unbelievable back but is really the only threat on the titans and i believe he wont have the same year he did last season. Go for the deal and trade matt ryan and someone else on your team for whatever your team needs..

Please help with mine..

in a 2 QB league, unless you suck every where else Manning and Brady would be close to King
You could think of government workers like teenagers. You pay them an allowance, but do you get any work out them? They eat the food, put their feet on the furniture and complain loudly whenever they are unhappy.

I think Matt Ryan will have a good year, and will be a great #2. I'd be very hesitant to give up the #1 overall pick for what you're getting. Personally, I'd pass on this.

Help with mine?

I personally think in two QB leagues, getting two top 5 QBs could easily win you the league. The top QBs get more fantasy pts than the top RBs. The only reason the top RBs go first is due to scarcity and the fact that you usually need to fill 2 RB spots. So in this case, I'd do the trade. Just my 2 cents.
