Need WR2/WR3 help in a deep league! WHIR

Postby dantheman » Wed Sep 08, 2010 11:12 pm

I'm in a deep 14-team league...my WR1 is Andre Johnson (no-brainer) but it gets a little tricky after that....here's my choices:

Hines Ward (v. Atlanta)
Jerricho Cotchery (v. Baltimore)
Steve Breaston (at St. Louis)
Mike Williams (Seattle v. San Francisco)
Massaquoi (at Tampa Bay)
James Jones (at Philly)

I am leaning towards Ward and Cotchery, but especially at the start of the season, totally second-guessing myself, thinking one of these other guys could have a huge game and I'd regret it.....Breaston/Williams/Massaquoi all have QB issues, and James Jones is too far down the depth chart to consider right now....but I'm concerned about Dixon's ability to get the ball to Ward.

Anyhow, leave a link and I will certainly help in return.

I would pick Hines Ward for sure. He's one of these old reliable veteran receivers. As for WR3, I would go with Cotchery. Even though he hasn't played in the preseason, Cotchery has been the main target last season. I know Edwards is there now too, but I'd still go with Cotchery over your other options for the same reason you mentioned.
