Finley as PPR TE?

Postby Thor » Thu Sep 09, 2010 9:41 am

I guess the top 2 PPR TE's would be Clark and then Gates.

What do you guys think of Finley as a PPR TE this year and how early would you reach for him.
Do you like him better than Vernon, Gonzo or Witten ?

I have him 4th behind Vernon Davis. He's got huge upside but limited results thus far.

I think he's #3. He got off to a slow start last year but had 38 receptions in the last 7 weeks. That projects to 86 over a full season which would be more than Davis or Gonzalez. That's also less than 10 behind Witten but Finley should definitely outscore him. Witten won't score enough and Gonzalez is getting older. I can see an argument for Davis at #3, but with Finley's potential and him approaching his first full year heavily involved in the Packer's offense, Finley is #3 in PPR or non-PPR for me. I think he's definitely worth a 5th round pick and might even consider him late in the 4th.
