Fitzgerald / Turner Trade

Postby FF_God » Thu Sep 09, 2010 10:58 am

I have been offered Fitzgerald/McCoy/Dez Bryant for my Turner/Witten. Should I do this trade ? I'm in standard 12 yahoo league with 2 RBs, 1 QB, 2 WRs, 1 TE, 1 TE/WR flex

My current lineup
QB: Romo, Stafford, Anderson
RB: Turner, Bradshaw, Huggins
WR: Andre Johnson, Wallace, Aromashadu, Sidney Rice
TE: Witten, Finley

Any help would be great. Please leave your post for me to reply. Thanks!

I wouldn't do it. I think the drop from Turner to McCoy is too big. RBs are going to be your big point getters in Standard leagues.

I actually think I'd pass.

Projected starters
Before Trade: Turner, Bradshaw, AJ, Wallace, Finley, Witten
After Trade: McCoy, Bradshaw, AJ, Fitz, Wallace, Finley

I think the downgrade from Turner to McCoy is larger than the upgrade from Witten to Fitz. I also think you're in a position of power with Finley and Witten in a league that can start 2 TEs. I would think there are a few teams with really bad TE options and you may be able to get more for Witten.
