WDIS at WR/TE: Shiancoe/Witten/Gaffney? Help Please!

Postby MBison » Thu Sep 09, 2010 12:32 pm

Our league has a WR/TE slot. 12 teams we start 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 WR/TE, 1 TE. 6 per TD, 1 per 15 rush/rec, no PPR.

I can play 2 of these three:

Visanthe Shiancoe at New Orleans
Jason Witten at Washington
Jabar Gaffney at Jacksonville

Gaffney is a sneaky play cause Jacksonville's pass defense is horrible. Shiancoe had 83 yards in the conference title game last season and the Saints are without Darren Sharper. Witten is usually pretty steady; last season he had 43 yards in game 1 and 117 in game 2.

In a super alternative I could sit either Wes Welker or Pierre Garcon and play all 3, but I think those guys are must plays this week.

Please share your thoughts and help me make this decision! Much appreciated! Will help in return.

Go with the TEs and Welker. I like to go with the guys you know are going to get touches week 1.
