Bench Jamaal Charles for W1?? WHIR, as always!!!!!!

Postby RedBirdChica » Thu Sep 09, 2010 4:21 pm

Here's my starting lineup for W1. Am I crazy for not finding a way to start Jamaal Charles or Michael Crabtree?

WHIR 100%!!!!!

QB: Phillip Rivers vs KC
RB: Ryan Grant vs Phi
RB: Ahmad Bradshaw vs Car
Flex: Arian Foster vs Ind
WR: Andre Johnson vs Ind
WR: Malcolm Floyd vs KC
TE: Kellen Winslow vs Cle
D/ST: Arizona Cardinals vs StL
K: Matt Prater vs Jac

BENCH
Jamaal Charles vs SD
Michael Crabtree vs Sea
Braylon Edwards vs Bal
Tim Hightower vs StL
Jacoby Jones vs Ind
Ben Roethlisberger vs Roger Goodell/Mike Tomlin
Vikings D/ST ((no friggin way am I starting them against the Saints tonight. In fact, I drafted the Cardinals because I knew that week 1 would have me going to the waiver wire anyway))

You are playing the right Wide Receivers. It's either Bradshaw or Charles...Can't go wrong with either since both are "starters" but have talented backups that might get goal-line carries.

Help with mine please? Thanks. viewtopic.php?t=472645

I like Charles over Grant this week, better matchup.
I would also go Crab over Floyd, better matchup.

i might try to get bradshaw out of there, he only had 53 yards against carolina last year, but I wouldnt do that in favor of Charles. Charles is sharing back field with 1400 yard touch down vulture this year, but I would try to start crabtree

I would start J. Charles over A. Bradshaw and M. Crabtree over M. Floyd.

Congrads of the team you've assembled. It's the reason you have such great choices. That said, I think your selections are 100% correct and Bradshaw/Charles are a BUMP at the very least.

Please help me backs at:

Thanks for your help on mine.

I'm going to diverge a bit from what other people are saying here. I think that Houston is going to be playing catch-up against Indi and will be passing. As such I would actually prefer Charles over Foster. This does bode well for Johnson though. And I think your right in starting Malcolm Floyd over Crabtree. Even though I'm a big niners fan, I have higher hopes for Floyd With Rivers throwing to him.

I think you're playing the right matchup as well. I think Bradshaw should start the season hot. Charles also has the potential to explode but he's more of a risk. I think overall during the season you'll end up starting Charles over Bradshaw, but I'd roll w/ Bradshaw week 1, and see how much play time Charles gets.

I'd roll Charles over Bradshaw this week. I think both have great matchups but there is no way Bradshaw is seeing any red zone action....and no one really knows how many touches both backs are getting this week. Charles has way more upside.

good luck ;-D
