Auto draft killed me....need waiver wire help

Postby oonural » Thu Sep 09, 2010 11:07 pm

Hey. So I got stuck in NYC traffic and missed 3/4 of my draft. Here is my roster:
QB P. Rivers
WR M Crabtree
WR W. Welker
RB S. Jackson
RB R. Mendenhall
TE Z. Miller
W/R J. Stewart
Def NO
K L Tynes
BN TJ Housh
BN T. Hightower
BN M. Williams (TB)
BN A. Collie

So I think that my WRs may need some help.
These are the guys on the waiver wire that Im looking at. What do you think about dropping Collie for the following:
Jabar Gafnney (Den)
M williams (Sea)
A. Gonzalez (Ind)
M. Clayton (Stl)

its not that bad a team.. I think I might drop TJ for Gaffney though

Jabar Gafnney (Den) - best they got
M williams (Sea) - no clue whats going on in SEA honestly
A. Gonzalez (Ind) - saying he didn't even get a chance to take back his #2 spot
M. Clayton (Stl) - higher upside than the others

I would check out some trade options packaging some RBs for a nice upgrade

If its PPR league you keep welker 100% of the time. And this is coming from a "f*ck the patriots" mentality. Mike Williams from tampa is probably the most upside gamble at WR spot this year. I'd keep TJ but put him on bench first couple weeks and if he doesnt produce then go ahead and drop him. I wouldnt take Seattles williams, gaffney, clayton or gonzo. You should start Welker and crabtree every week and on byes go ahead and start TJ or Mike Williams (TB)
QB: Tony Romo
RB: Frank Gore
RB: Jamaal Charles/Brandon Jackson/Jerome Harrison
WR: Reggie Wayne
WR: Greg Jennings
WR: Marques Colston
TE: Vernon Davis
K: Dan Carpenter
DST: San Fransisco/New England
