Why is everyone so low on McCoy?

I will admit I was wrong. McCoy has taken over gracefully for Westbrook. His game has greatly improved. I didn't think he would be this effective. The only real issue is that he gets caught from behind sonetimes. But he certaily is an every week RB1.

He's definitely slower than Westbrook, but he has good field vision and he sets his cuts and follows his blockers well, so it's not a big issue. He already leads the league in runs of 40+ yards (he has 4), so that big play ability isn't lacking.

Add me to the list of people who were low on McCoy going into the season. I thought he would be a low-end RB2 and I felt he was being drafted appropriately (~4th round).

I didn't picture him as a top-5 RB. He didn't impress me at all last year; he must have worked hard in the offseason. He'll definitely be drafted in the top 5 in ppr leagues next year.

I didn't think he'd have as Many TDs as he does. I thought he'd be looking at 6-8 total TDs this year.

I'll admit I was right about McCoy. Spent a 2nd rounder on him and turned down multiple trade offers throughout the season for him.

He went for $18 in our auction draft. The other guys who were projected 1st rounders went from $58-48. So that's like a 4th or 5th rounder.
