Manger dropped Ahmad Bradshaw for Laurence Maroney??

So I understand that I am new but I cant seem to find the logic behind this event.

One player in my league dropped Ahmad Bradshaw and acquired Laurence Maroney from free agency thru the waiver list this morning.

My question is, WHY is the world would this person do this? Am I completely missing something?

Bradshaw-
a. Appointed new starting running back for the NYG. Great news
b. Projected to make between 10-12 poitns for nearly all his game. A fair amount.

Laurence Marony
a. Has a hurt groin which is healing slowly. Not great news
b.ESPN's Mike Reiss speculates that Maroney (groin) "might have a problem cracking the (Patriots') 45-man game-day roster given his limited practice repetitions." Not really good to hear.
c.Projected to make .6 - 1.6 for his games this season each week. Maybe some reason why that I dont know.

With all this in mind why would someone do this. Though it seems it was an obvious dumb move I am worried there is some big picture I am missing...

So whats the verdict.

So apparently it was a mistake lol. My commish who is a best friend of mine had asked the guy, sicnce I do not know him, and he had said that it was a mistake. Though its weird because it happened exactly at 6:44 a.m. sept 10 and another person in the league just so happened at the same exact time, 6:44 a.m. to drop 2 other players and pick up 2 guys. Though none of the players dropped or picked up weren't from either persons team.

But yeah I got 7 RB's on my list but I put my waiver in which is #4 to get Ahmad an drop Darren Sproles.

I already got MJD and Steven Jackson, Ahmad would just be amazing to have and be my starter in my Flex spot which is basically flip flop at the moment.
