Postby Jon FLA » Fri Sep 10, 2010 7:06 pm

Fantasy help.. heres my starting lineup

QB - Aaron Rodgers (GB-QB) Opp-@Phi
WR - Hakeem Nicks (NYG-WR) Opp-Car
WR - Devin Aromashodu (Chi-WR) Opp-Det
RB - DeAngelo Williams (Car-RB) Opp-@NYG
RB - Arian Foster (Hou-RB) Opp-Ind
TE - Dallas Clark (Ind-TE) Opp-@Hou

and on the bench i have
WR - Pierre Garcon (Ind-WR) Opp-@Hou
WR - Kenny Britt (Ten-WR) Opp-Oak
RB - Cedric Benson (Cin-RB) Opp-@NE
RB - Felix Jones (Dal-RB) Opp-@Was
WR - TJ Housh (Bal-WR) Opp-@NYJ
WR - Jacoby Jones (Hou-WR) Opp-Ind

Im questioning who to start as my recievers.. Im thinking start Garcon but I already have Dallas Clark. Chicago is playing Detroit this week and from what I read Aromashodu is Cutler's favorite target. Kenny Britt might be big time.. I dont know please help!!

Welcome Jon!

I have Shodu in 2 leagues- I'm leaving him on the bench till I have a better idea who will benefit from the Martz effect. You might have Clark, but Indy is playing Hou and it could very easily turn into a shootout. Britt and Housh are definitely bench-worthy. Depnding on who's on your waiver-wire, they might belong there.

You say it could turn into a shoot out so what do you think about starting Jacoby Jones? Also Indy's run defense isn't too shabby so do you think I should start Cedric Benson against New Englands run D? NE's run D isn't too strong. Also Hakeem Nicks against Carolina's secondary? Geez so many variable.. lol

Knox will be the man in Chicagoa, followed by Hester. 1 or 2 catches tops for that other guy. I am going with Garcon and Britt. Dont worry about having 2 catchers for Manning. Wish I did. Your tougher question is at running back. How do you stuff the line with Ocho and TO running routes? I like Benson to be a top 3 back this year, but Foster could be this years ray rice. I am gonna go with my gut and sit Deangelo this week. The giants game plan has to be to stop the run.

Alright, many questions. Who I think you should start-

QB - Aaron Rodgers (GB-QB) Opp-@Phi- You're not debating this, right?
WR - Hakeem Nicks (NYG-WR) Opp-Car- best WR on a team that wants to run but whose RBs keep getting injured
WR - Pierre Garcon (Ind-WR) Opp-@Hou- Indy's #2 in a possible/probable shoot-out
RB - DeAngelo Williams (Car-RB) Opp-@NYG- Really?
RB - Arian Foster (Hou-RB) Opp-Ind- I'm not as high on him as others, but given the options, I'd go with him; Indy doesn't have the best run defense
TE - Dallas Clark (Ind-TE) Opp-@Hou- Really?

and on the bench you have
WR - Devin Aromashodu (Chi-WR) Opp-Det- I'm waiting to see how the Martz Effect shakes out
WR - Kenny Britt (Ten-WR) Opp-Oak- Coach Fisher recently threatened to deactivate him since he made efforts to improve
RB - Cedric Benson (Cin-RB) Opp-@NE- good situation, not that great a matchup, though NE has had DL health issues
RB - Felix Jones (Dal-RB) Opp-@Was- a fantasy RB3
WR - TJ Housh (Bal-WR) Opp-@NYJ- his team's WR3, though Revis may make him an option as a WR4
WR - Jacoby Jones (Hou-WR) Opp-Ind- could do something, especially in this matchup, but I'd rather play someone who's more certain to produce
