Only saw snippet of this game, but Vick looks awesome. His accuracy seems to be much improved.
What you said. Terrible play call by the Eagles. Does Vick threaten Kolb for the starting QB position now?
I'm not sure how you don't start him at this point. He looks every bit as fast as he was in Atlanta, except now he has quality receivers to throw to, and he's more patient in the pocket. His accuracy isn't there, but the team rallys behind him, he's pretty damn good in clutch situations, and his athleticism makes him the #1 priority on the field, opening up the run game ten-fold and making life easier for everyone around him. I was never a fan off his passing ability, but he wins, quite often. That, and Kolb looked every bit as awful as he did in the preseason, which should make the decision pretty simple. D-Jax and Maclin at wr, Celek at TE, and Vick with his running ability in the pocket would make the Eagles pretty dangerous, not to mention entertaining to watch.

How they don't start him, two words, err one name, Andy Reid. He did not let McNabb go, especially inside the division, if he did not think Kolb was his QB. Kolb was Reid's draft pick he wanted, and he will be his starting QB. Also Vick is not in Philly to be the Vick he was in Atlanta. Kolb is in there because he has a big arm and Philly built around that with DJax, Maclin and Celek.
Secondly, people saying that Kolb looked so terrible, which he did, but so did Rodgers in the first half. Gotta give the guy some time to get into a groove a bit at least. Not to mention he was going up against one of the top Ds in the league, who were just letting Clay Matthews pin his ears pack and no one on the Iggles line could slow him up. I still say once Kolb is cleared to play Vick will be back to the gadget player he was brought in to be. Vick still has enough, as he showed today, to be a fulltime starter somewhere, just not in Philly while Kolb is there and healthy.
