Need Help: 1 RB and 1 WR - WHIR

Postby inwithoutahelmet » Sat Sep 11, 2010 2:57 pm

Pick 1 RB: Portis @ DAL, Barber v. WAS, or McFadden @ TEN

Pick 1 WR: Boldin @ NYJ, Floyd @ KC, Wallace (PIT) v. ATL, Gaffney @ JAC

I currently have Barber in, but he will lose a bulk of carries to Jones but may get a goaline TD, and Boldin, but he is facing Revis. Do i really sit down Boldin?

Any help appreciated.. thanks, WHIR

My 2 cents are on Barber and Floyd. Floyd has the potential to have a day (or night as it may be :-D) and Barber, runs, catches and scores. McFadden starts running, falls down and gets hurt. Portis may share cares and going against Dallas front seven will be no picnic IMHO.

I would also go Barber and Floyd.

DAL will probably get out early on WAS and pound it 2nd half. Portis might share carries with LJ, plus DAL has pretty good run D. I dont think OAK scores enough to make McFadden a better start than the other 2.

I think Floyd has the most potential of them all, as a #1 WR for a good QB. Also, each of the others has a big reason not to start him. Boldin will face Revis all day. Wallace has a QB who can only hit guys on the other team. Gaffney...well, just less potential IMO than Floyd.

Help with mine?

At RB, I would definitely go with M. Barber, despite the presence of F. Jones in the backfield. Washington's running defense looked extremely porous during the preseason and M. Barber should have a solid game.

At WR, the decision is between A. Boldin and M. Floyd. Based on A. Boldin's tough match up, I would go with M. Floyd.

For sure I'd go with Floyd .. the RBs are a toss up IMO. Gun to the head I guess I'd go with Barber as the safest bet.

Agreed... Barber and Floyd are the logical choices to me.
