Fitzgerald slips in Heisman race

Larry caught 7 passes for 102 yards and 2 scores. But I'd have to say, against Temple, I think voters would have expected more from him this game. He has to make a huge statement against the Canes next Saturday.

He's done all he can do. The man has averaged almost 8 catches per game, more than 142 yds per game and has caught 21 TDs! Thats almost 2 TD catches per game. Yesterday didnt help his chances....but I doubt it hurt them either.

Jason White is by far the best candidate for Heisman and will win it for sure. He has thrown for 40 tds and only thrown 6 ints. You can't get much better than that. Those numbers are better than Carson Palmer's numbers last year and are better than past Heisman QBs. Fitzgerald is pretty amazing and might win it next year.

Did White get benched vs k-state? I guess they didn't want him to get hurt before they play Michigan in the Rose Bowl. This weekend really helped out larry.
