Great post and some great perspective Sex Panther. I misjudged and undervalued Foster this year, and didn't end up owning him in any of my 4 leagues. Needless to say it wasn't fun playing against him what seemed like once a week across my leagues.

Did you use the same "selection bias" you did with Robinson Cano?

The selection bias quote was an article from Matthew Berry (Say what you will about Matthew Berry, I don't particularly find him a great FB writer but I thought the article was interesting)
http://sports.espn.go.com/fantasy/baseb ... tmr50facts

The article seemed appropriate to quote when two sides were disagreeing over the same numbers. I thought it went along with the "Facts are biased?" argument. I never even actually made a statement in that thread if I was going to draft Perdoia or Cano (For the record, I didn't own either this year) but I'm guessing that because my avatar on the FBC is a Red Sox logo you assumed I was in some way trying to refute your argument. I didn't know you were so outraged by it so much you'd follow me over to the football cafe half a year later.

While looking for another thread, found this. Thought it'd be interesting to bump it.

Came across this thread by accident, and as someone who had enough faith in Foster to draft him kinda high in both my big money leagues last season, I'm glad to say that I went against the trade talks, and instead let him carry me to the championship in both leagues.

Heres hoping for a repeat performance, ha.
