WW #1 Priority, take Hakeem Nicks?

Postby Ahzzy » Mon Sep 13, 2010 12:58 pm

I've got top priority and Hakeem Nicks went undrafted in our 10 team league, should I pick him up and be bumped to the bottom? If so who do I drop? Kolb? Steve Smith? TO? LT? Thanks!

Start: QB, WR, WR, RB, RB, FLEX, TE, K, DEF

QB: Philip Rivers, Brett Favre, Kevin Kolb
WR: Andre Johnson, Calvin Johnson, Steve Smith (NYG), Terrell Owens
RB: DeAngelo Williams, Ryan Matthews, Ronnie Brown, Arian Foster, LaDainian Tomlinson
TE: Tony Gonzalez
DEF: Cowboys
K: Neil Rackers

Definitely burn your #1 priority to get Nicks, and drop Kolb. There's absolutely no reason to have three QB's if you can only start one, and what we learned about Kolb yesterday is that he's both injured and terrible.
12 team H2H league, standard scoring, no PPR.
QB: Cutler, Kitna
RB: All Day AP, CJ2K, F.Jax, R.Brown, S. Greene, Dixon
WR: G. Jennings, Roy Williams, M. Williams (sea)
TE: J. Tamme
Def: Denver
K: Hartley, Carpenter

Thanks for the reply. I was leaning towards Kolb. I only drafted him because he was still there in the 12th rnd and I didn't want anyone else to snag him. But with his poor showing and injury I think his hype has dropped down significantly and nobody will pick him up from waivers for a few weeks and gives me more time to evaluate my team.
