Rodgers? Jennings?

Postby DoomSquad » Mon Sep 13, 2010 8:02 pm

I just got offered Rodgers/B Lloyd for Manning/Jennings.

Just wondering if the QB upgrade will be large enough to offset the loss of Jennings (who I think is going to have a huge year), seeing as Lloyd isn't really better than any other wideout I already have. Starter-wise I think Bowe could plug in and be decent as a WR2. I'm leaning towards making the deal. Just looking for some feedback. Let me know.

I'm in a 12 team standard scoring league with bonuses to 100yd and 300yd games.

QB - E Manning, Kolb
RB - D Williams, J Charles, J Harrison, F Jackson, L Johnson, T Choice
WR - Moss, Jennings, Bowe, J Jones, Berrian, M Williams, Rice (on IR)
TE - Finley
D - Arizona
K - Prater

Not a chance I do this deal. Rodgers is a good upgrade over Eli, but not enough value added for the big loss from Jennings to Lloyd. I think Lloyd is a super sleeper in Denver, Orton looked his way a ton, but still not going to even come close to what Jennings puts up. Also I wouldn't be surprised to see Eli improve in the fantasy rankings big time from last year, he has very solid options to throw to and the Giants look to be leaning more to the passing game this year.

Stick with what you have.
