Rank these WR waiver options for me. WHIR

Postby tjdoren » Tue Sep 14, 2010 12:42 pm

I'm thin at WR. These are the top options available on waivers:
1. Clayton - STL - 16 targets...wow...got to love it
2. Naanee - SD - Nice game, but the long touchdown was a fluke due to blown coverage
3. M. Thomas - JAX - Nice game...could be a potential keeper option for me
4. B. Lloyd - DEN - Nice game, but was it a fluke? When D.Thomas plays more, will Lloyd suffer?

I have the #4 WW position, so I hesitate to waste that position for anything less than these guys.

Also, let me know who you suggest dropping. I'm thinking Burleson is worth dropping in favor of the WW options. Not sure about Hester or Celek...I think I should give them both another 1-2 weeks to prove their worth.

POST A LINK...I'LL HELP IN RETURN.

My roster:
QB: Romo
RB: Rice, SJax, Moreno, Buckhalter
WR/TE (flex): Bowe, Nicks, Celek, Breaston, Burleson, Hester, S.Holmes, O.Daniels
D: Jets
K: Vinatieri
12 Team Re-draft league
Start 1QB, 2 RB, 2 WR 1TE, K, D/ST
1/10 yds Rec/Rush or 20 yds pass; 3/pass TD; 6/rush-rec TD

I would rank them the same way you did, except maybe put Lloyd at #3. He led the team in targets, and Orton was looking at him first a lot.

I wouldn't drop Celek, even though you have Daniels. Drop either Hester or Burleson.

Good luck.

If you get a chance, help me out:

I'm pretty high on Denver offense right now. Going into a week against Seattle who was 30th in pass D last year, and the pass first mentality that Josh McDaniels has, I think Denver WRs are primed for big all around games.
