Trade Forsett or McFadden for Collie?

Postby chiswede » Tue Sep 14, 2010 1:10 pm

Another owner just probably lost Ryan Grant for the season and I could use another WR. He doesn't have any real viable options (just Tomlinson) so I'm thinking of offering either McFadden (since he'll split carries once Bush is back) or Fosett (since he splits now). Those are my only 2 RB backups to Rice and Gore though. Is this worth offering to him? My team is below.

14 team keeper league
Start: 1QB, 2RB, 3WR, 1TE, 1K, 1D
Scoring:
10yds rushing/receiving-1pt
Rushing/receiving TD-6pts
Passing TD-4pts
Interception- -1pt
Fumble- -2pts
.25 points per reception
Default Yahoo scoring for kicking and defence

Lineup:

QB Philip Rivers
WR Steve Smith (Car)
WR Johnny Knox
WR Mike Williams (TB)
RB Frank Gore
RB Ray Rice
TE Zach Miller
K Billy Cundiff
D San Diego
BN Justin Forsett (RB)
BN Nate Burleson (WR)
BN Alex Smith (SF)
BN Darren McFadden (RB)
BN Jabar Gaffney (WR)
BN Dexter McCluster (WR,RB)

Just my opinion, but I am pretty high on McFadden right now. I would hold onto him. Might be that they won't rush Bush back because McFadden is doing so well and even if he is back right away, McFadden has impressed and seems poised to get some action.

Yea, of the two of them, I'm leaning towards offering Fosett. McFadden looked great so far, but he's burned everyone so much I'm a little leery. Unfortunately, I fee like he's the one I'll have to offer to get Collie, and I would rather put Fossett up and take a shot.
