Trade...Colston for Forte? WHIR

Postby Cardphan » Tue Sep 14, 2010 3:01 pm

I have an offer for my Forte. He is offering Colston. This is a standard non-PPR league starting a flex. My question is, which team does this deal make better?

I currently have:
RB1: Ryan Matthews
RB2: Arian Foster
Flex: Matt Forte
WR1: Roddy White
WR2: Malcolm Floyd
Bench: Ricky Williams, Tim Hightower

He has:
RB1: Frank Gore
RB2: Joe Addai
Flex: Percy Harvin
WR1: Reggie Wayne
WR2: Marques Colston

So he would insert Forte into the Flex spot and slide Harvin into a WR2 role. I replace Forte with Ricky/Hightower and upgrade at WR2 with Colston.

Does this benefit me? Does Forte blow up again week after week when not playing the Lions? And most important, is Colston ever going to dominate?

Thanks...and I always help in return.

If this were a PPR league, you would keep Forte, no questions asked. Even though it is not, I still lean towards keeping Forte, or at least try getting a WR in a better situation for him. Colston is in an offense that spreads the ball around a lot. I would want a Jennings or a Jackson for Forte if it were my team.
Yay for Offensive Coordinators!!!
