Forte and Greene for which WR? WHIR

Postby kswiss » Tue Sep 14, 2010 3:10 pm

I've got a lot of RBs in a 10 team H2H league with standard scoring (non-ppr). No one wanted to trade with me in the pre-season, but finally someone wants to do a deal. He expressed an interest in Forte and Greene, and I would like to get either Larry Fitzgerald or Roddy White from him. I'm not particularly interested in his RBs, so I'd like to do maybe a 1 for 1, or a 2 for 1 with my RB and Crabtree. What would be good trade to make?

My Team:
QB: Tom Brady
WR: Miles Austin, Michael Crabtree, Wes Welker
RB: MJD, Foster
TE: Brent Celek
K: Mason Crosby
Def: Dallas
Bench: Shonn Greene, Matt Forte, Javid Best, Steve Breaston, Kevin Kolb, Vincent Jackson
(I got Best and Foster off the WW this pre-season)

His Team:
QB: Tony Romo
WR: Larry Fitzgerald, Roddy White, Braylon Edwards
RB: Pierre Thomas, Johnathan Stewart
TE: Jason Witten
K: Garrett Hartley
Def: New Orleans
Bench: Beanie Wells, TJ Houshmandzadeh, Devin Aromashodu, Ben Roethlisberger, Dustin Keller, Denver(D)

I think it'd be fair for either guy, but I don't love it and not sure if I would take it. I think if you wait a few weeks you could get more for Greene. Greene had a rough game, but will have bigger weeks to come.

I personally would wait, I think you can get more.

Well, I was thinking of trying Forte for White, or some combination of a 1 for 1 with either Forte or Greene for Fitz or White. But if that doesn't work, would a trade of Greene and Crabtree be too much for White or Fitzgerald?

i think white would really help your team. Trading forte for white could be very good for you. When you add in crabtree it hurts a little but you would be fine as crabtree would probably be on the bench most of the time? or would u start him ahead of welker?

I think Forte+Crabtree for White is great for you with your depth at RB. In a PPR league, I'd trade Greene before Forte, but this is standard. Yes, you could get more later. You could also get less later too, and adding White to Austin with the set of RB's you have would be very hard to beat. Good luck!
