is steven jackson worth having?

Postby dpav25 » Tue Sep 14, 2010 6:46 pm

Just wondering everyones thoughts. I play in a ppr league and start 1QB 2RB 2WR 1WR/RB 1TE K DEF
My starting line up is as follows:

QB: RIVERS
RB1: MICHAEL TURNER
RB2: LESEAN MCCOY
WR1:MARQUES COLSTON
WR2: TO
TE: DALLAS CLARK
WR/RB: STEVEN JACKSON
ON BENCH: SIMS-WALKER, GAFFNEY, TB MIKE WILLIAMS, CADILLAC WILLIAMS, TODD HEAP, JOE FLACCO

Basically, my question is jackson worth having on a mediocre rams.team and he's banged up.already... i was thinkin about trading him and a non starter WR for miles austin, reggie wayne, calvin johnson, roddy white, or greg jennings, maybe even gore?

If you can get Miles Austin I would do it. I have had Jackson in my keeper league for 3 years now and he has not lived up to his potential. He was the best player on a poor team and now the injury's are piling up and he isn't the same player. Tou seem set in the rb area. Is it a dynasty or redraft league?
