RB and WR help? WHIR

Postby marwels23 » Wed Sep 15, 2010 8:25 am

Most likely, I won't need RB help, but I put it in this topic juuuuust in case I get Brandon Jackson. I'm 6th in line for waivers, so I highly doubt it, but you never know.

Anyway, this is only valid if I get B.Jackson, but if I do, should I start him or should I start Ahmad Bradshaw? B.Jackson vs. Bills, and A.Bradshaw vs. Colts. Oh, it's a PPR league.

Here's the one I need help with: I need to pick one of these three. I drafted both Naanee and Mike Williams (SEA), so I have a choice between those two as well as J.Maclin for this week. Naanee vs. Jaguars, Williams vs. Broncos, and Maclin vs. Lions (but will have Vick throwing to him). I'm leaning towards Naanee for this week, but I want other people's opinions. Thanks.

At RB, I would definitely go with B. Jackson. He is probably going to receive practically all of the carries, while A. Bradshaw may still lose a few carries to B. Jacobs. The Indianapolis defense is very susceptible, but I don't think they'll look quite as bad this week. Green Bay does focus on their passing game, but I believe B. Jackson will receive a significant amount of carries to prove himself.

At WR, I would go with L. Naanee as well. Under normal circumstances, I would pick M. Williams, but Champ Bailey completely shut down Mike Sims-Walker during week 1 and I fear they will place him on M. Williams. I would definitely sit J. Maclin while M. Vick is playing QB.

i would go with bradshaw and naanee...although jacobs will probably steal some from bradshaw but after seeing the colts run D u cant go wrong with whoever faces them and naanee has started to emerge as Rivers new favorite target (other than gates of course) while m. williams will most definitely be shut down by champ bailey

Go with B Jackson if you get him. Im not big on either of the Giants RB's. They literally split the carries 50/50. And if the Colts go up early, which they likely will because they have a top 5 NFL offense, then the Giants are gonna be forced to throw the ball. Definitely go with Jackson.

As for WR, I'd go with Nanne (however you spell it). He's got a favorable matchup at home against a bad Jaguars defense. Maclin is good, but you don't know what your going to get from Vick from a passing perspective. I thin Vick will do good vs the Lions, but he may be doing a lot of running himself. Mike Williams isn't a bad choice either. He has emerged as Seattle's #1 WR, and he looked real good in preseason and in week 1. Seattle has absolutely no running game, so they will be forced to throw.

Help me out with mine:
