QB: Aaron Rodgers, Donovan McNabb RB: Cedric Benson, Ricky Williams, Felix Jones, Leon Washington WR: Wes Welker, Marques Colston, Pierre Garcon, Percy Harvin, Jabar Gaffney, Roy Williams TE: Dallas Clark, Zach Miller K: Sebastian Janikowski D: Pittsburgh Steelers
(QB, RB1, RB2, WR1, WR2, TE, W/R, K, D, 7 BEN)
I got caught with my pants down helping my father with his draft (his first) so I made some mistakes in the RB department and have been reeling to correct it. Here's what I'm thinking:
1) Donovan McNabb for Michael Bush 2) Dallas Clark for Jamaal Charles or Ronnie Brown
I'd like to get more for Clark, but only one team could really use a good TE and his other backs are AP and Fred Jackson.
I'm targeting Brandon Jackson, Peyton Hillis, Mark Clayton, and Brandon Lloyd off the waiver wire (dropping Roy and Leon), but pick fourth. Any suggestions on priority?
I personally do not like Bush so I wouldn't like McNabb for Bush. Plus, I think McNabb will outplay his draft position and makes a solid QB2. I think the more acceptable deal is Clark for Charles/Brown. I think I'd aim for Charles but he is more of a gamble but if Monday showed anything, he can hit that home run and flat out run. I'd aim for that but I'd say wait until you can get more out of McNabb. Anyone out there needing a QB? Maybe a Kolb owner who has a RB3/4 he can part with?
Thanks for the suggestion. Royal in a 1 PPR league is gonna get his but I just feel that sometimes he can get streaky.

I've been getting stoned with McNabb. I'm only targeting teams in need of an QB, but might be reaching too high, too earlier for some of them. I like Bush's upside, especially since McFadden is extremely inconsistent, but I definitely understand why you suggest I look elsewhere.
I'll probably only end up targeting Brown with Clark. Brown's injury history scares me, but I wouldn't mind starting him while moving Ricky to the flex (he's currently my RB2; see what kind of a jam I'm in). They're probably the most productive backs in the league that share carries.
As for your Royal take, I agree. He disappears from time to time and wasn't targeted late.
Can't see someone giving up Charles for Clark. If its a PPR league why would you want to anyway. Also, Clark is a TD machine. Target the waiver wire and hold on to Clark
I know Clark can be counted on for TDs, but we're not rolling a PPR league this year so I need the 1 for 10 yardage Brown could potentially provide. I like Miller enough to sacrifice Clark, although I don't expect Miller to produce nearly as much.
I would only do Clark for Charles. Not sure if I would trade for that or not, but I think it's the only option that really upgrades you. Bush I don't trust, especially after a strong showing by McFadden.
I would only do Clark for Charles as well. Otherwise hold on to him and wait for the next big RB injury. WR production at the TE slot is pretty valuable and there are only a few TEs who can provide. Plus, INDY looks like they are going to have to pass even more this year.
Clark for Charles is definitely the best of the deals there, but I agree it might not be accepted. Your best bet unfortunately might be to wait it out to see if any injuries develop, or just trade up for value and use those pieces to trade for a better RB. Maybe use Clark as a tool to get a WR from the other team, then use your WR depth to trade for someone who's weak there? If there's only one team that needs a TE, your only options are really to work with his needs or wait for someone else to develop a problem at the position.
In terms of waiver stuff, I'd go for Hillis, you're not getting Jackson and Hillis is one step away from taking more carries over Harrison. After that, Clayton then Lloyd.

thanks for mine
Agreed. try getting someone like brandon jackson or watch next week to see if a injury comes up att he RB position and go for their back up. Good Luck. Thanks for helping me!
