Darren Sproles vs. Fred Taylor? WHIR!!!

I am in a 10 team H2H with standard yahoo settings except (1) 0.5 ppr (2) 15 receiving yds/pt (3) 30 all-purpose return yds/pt

We start: 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 WR/RB/TE, K, DEF

I have Darren Sproles, but Fred Taylor is a FA and judging by the SD vs KC game, I can verify that Ryan Mathews is the clear cut no.1 back in SD. On the other hand, I believe that Fred Taylor is the no.1 in NE, although they are a pass first team. Based on the settings, do you suggest that I drop Sproles for Taylor?

If it was full one point per reception, I'd be leaning towards Sproles. But I like Fred Taylor, especially with Maroney gone.

Absolutely! Taylor is the far superior back imo and with Maroney off the team now it increases his fantasy value even more. Pick him up.
