TERRIBLE QB situation - I need help

Postby Goldark » Wed Sep 15, 2010 5:30 pm

So my 2 QBs were Kolb and Big Ben, and I got outbid for Michael Vick off waivers. Enough said.

Here are my absolutely STELLAR options off of waivers. Which one do I pick up and start?

Josh Freeman vs. Carolina
Jason Campbell vs. St. Louis
Sam Bradford vs. Oakland
Shaun Hill vs. Philly

I think I'd go with Bradford. He's not the worst QB in the NFL, the Rams played harder than I expected week 1, and they're vs the Raiders. That seems saucy. Also, if your league is perchance keeper, he's not going to be someone you'll be sad to have later. If it isn't keeper, he's got some weapons (well, Jackson...) and, again, it's vs the Raiders.

I agree. From those options I would go with Bradford. He did fine week 1. 3 picks but 2 came in the closing minutes when he was throwing up for grabs. I don't think he will throw 50 times this week but should get more then the others for you!

I like josh Freeman out of this bunch. It’s tempting to go with Bradford 50+ passes almost wins his first game out of the gate, but wait we have no idea what this kid is going to do moving forward. You’re really only looking at a one week replacement. The panthers got torched by the New York Football Giants in week one giving up 3 TD’s to one receiver. If you can pull down even half that production with Freeman I think you should be in decent shape.

I'd go Jason Campbell. They are at home (season opener....should be jacked up) and they are playing a very, very bad team. He is a veteran and has decent WRs and TE to throw too.

Freeman on the road is too risky. Just too green.

Bradford will be throwing all game, unfortunately it will be for 190 with 5 INTS. Kid will be good, but this is his learning curve season.

Shaun Hill...did you watch the game? Nuff said don't even think about it.
