Its a Non-ppr league, standard league, 1pt per every 10 yards rushing, 1pt every 25 yards passing, 6pts for all tds passing/rushing.
have a few questions, what qb, wr, and defense should i start?
M. Vick @ Detroit or M. Ryan vs Arizona ---------------------------------------- Steve Smith (car) vs TB or Anquain Boldin @ Cinny ------------------------------------------- Tennessee Defense vs Pitt or New England Defense @ Ny Jets
I only live by 3 rules: Eat Twat, Smoke Pot, and Smile Alot
Vick- At a minimum he is going to get probably 60 yds rushing and 1 TD and likely 200 in the air and 1 TD...bottom line he will get you points on the ground and air.
Boldin- He looked awesome. Clearly Flacco's go-to guy and produced well against tough Jets D. Hate to bench Smith but Moore was pretty bad and I don't see the chemistry there right now.
New England, New England, New England- Sanchez is going to have a very, very long day.
At QB, I would definitely go with M. Vick. He has an extremely favorable match up and is motivated to secure that starting QB spot. Arizona's defense is pretty underrated and M. Ryan has not been looking so great.
At WR, I would probably start with A. Boldin. I know S. Smith will be the obvious choice for the majority of owners, but I'm really worried about the QB situation in Carolina. I believe J. Flacco will continue to target A. Boldin. Their rapport seemed solid against a strong New York defense. S. Smith has a lot of talent, but his QB may not be able to get him the ball effectively.
At DEF/ST, I believe both will produce a similar amount of points. However, I would give the slight edge to Tennessee D/ST. They looked extremely solid week 1.
I'd go with Vick for a few reasons. One, he is playing a bad defense. Two, he will rush for yards. Three, he will throw for yards. And lastly, he will get you TD's, whether it is through the air or on the ground.
And for WR, go with Boldin. He is a premier WR, and if he was able to get 110 yards against a good Jets, defense, he should be able to have his way with the Cinci defense that struggled against the Pats.
Help me with mine, maybe it will put your situation into perspective:
1) Vick, for all the reasons mentioned above (he's motivated to perform; he'll find a way to get you all sorts of yards against a suspect Detroit defense; and while I like Ryan, he's definitely going to have a tougher day against a stronger--and underrated--Arizona defense)
2) Harder call to make, as both could have solid days, but I give the slight edge to Boldin based on chemistry with the QB and the current QB's overall competence
3) New England; Pitt, even without Roethlisberger, looked much better against Atlanta than the Jets did against Baltimore, and this coming from a Falcons fan.
