This may sound like a bit of sour grapes, but in the 90s when Nebraska was winning championships and had several players arrested, it was front-page news everywhere, and ESPN ran our arrest stories 24/7. It became the face of the program, when it was just a few guys (Christian Peter, Lawrence Phillips, Abdul Muhammad, etc) really mucking it up for the rest of the team. Yet here's a Florida team with way more arrests, and it's not even being covered half so much. Instead all we see is Tim Tebow performing circumcisions in 3rd world countries and Urban Meyer as the current poster boy for great coaches.
Yes, I'm still bitter.
