I too was originally under the impression that Revis wasn't really too big of a factor when deciding to start Tier 1 WR...but...
Looking back at the 2009 stats, The Pats played the Jets twice and these are Moss's stats:
Week 2: 4 receptions/24 yds/ 0TDs
Week 11: 5 reception/34yds / 1TD (scored on Revis. I saw the highlight reel).
I also started to look at other top-notch WR who played opposite Revis in 2009 and these are their stats:
Reggie Wayne vs. Revis: 3 receptions/33 yds/ 0TDs
Andre Johnson vs. Revis: 4 receptions/35 yds/ 0TDs
Marques Colston vs. Revis: 2 receptions/33yds/ 0TDs (the WR with the most yds was Jerricho Cotchery - 71yds)
Roddy White vs. Revis: 4 receptions/33 yds/ 0 TDs.
The Good news for Moss is that last time the Jets played the Pats, Wes Welker tore them up for 192 yds...so maybe Revis might be covering Welker a little more often.
