I lost Kolb and Stafford this weekend and I was unable to claim Vick (primarily because I burned it on getting B.Jackson), so I am currently without a QB. With my only FA options being Bradford, Cassel, Hasselbeck or Gerrard, I posted to the league that I'm in search of a QB and the following offers have come in:
Deal 1:
Give - M.Barber + C.Williams
Get - E.Manning
Deal 2 (from Grant owner):
Give - B.Jackson + D.Driver
Get - P.Rivers
I have to give up more in deal 2, but I get the better QB, or is Eli not that far behind Rivers and would deal 1 be the better value. Although I would thin out my RB depth.
To put a snag into all of this, a third team has come in with this:
Deal 3:
Give - B.Jackson + E.Royal
Get - S.Green, TO, F.Taylor
I know Greene sucked this week 1, but he has a lot of upside and could be a good buy low. If I were to consider this deal, then I lose out on the Rivers deal, but could still get Eli, so essentially should I go with deal 1, deal 2, or a combo of deal 1 and 3? Which would make the most sense for my roster? Keep it simple or completely rehaul my squad?
