Help me DOMINATE this league

Postby wcsh86 » Wed Sep 15, 2010 11:11 pm

I am in a 12 team Standard scoring ESPN league. The only difference in their scoring and ours is .2 points per reception. Roster spots: QB, RB, RB, WR, WR, WR/RB/QB/TE, TE, D/ST, K and 7 Bench Spots. I'm the only one in the league that did not take extra defense, kicker, and tight end. All 11 teams had backup QB, D, K, AND TE. While on draft day I thought that was crazy and racked quite the crew of wide receivers and sleepers, but now I feel that I need to make a trade with someone and get a solid defensive option or maybe a kicker. I got stuck with Favre so I picked up hasslebeck for backup duty on week four. He is the only option left other than Jason Campbell and Matt Moore. Hasslebeck plays STL in week 4. I just wanted to see what you guys thought- is it worth giving up talent, and how much is worth it- for a defense or kicker or depth at tight end?

QB-Favre, Hasslebeck
RB-C. Johnson, J. Charles, M. Forte, R. Williams, Leon Washington
WR-D. Jackson, M. Crabtree, S. Moss, M. Floyd, M. Massaqoui, J. Jones
TE-A. Gates
D/ST-See below
K-L. Tynes

Defense. I did not know I had to draft a defense. I waited till the last round and picked up the dolphins. They did alright against the bills but I dropped them this week to pick up hasslebeck. I picked up the chiefs for their electric return game. I think they'll do fine against the Browns. I've looked around the league and FA's: Chargers, Panthers, Colts, Browns, Seahawks, Dolphins, Redskins, Falcons, Raiders, Bills, Lions, Rams, Bucs, Jags. I could also trade for the Giants, Pats, Titans, or Saints. My buddy also said if I came up with something 'Substantial' I could get the Ravens, but that could mean anything

What do you guys think? I have a ton of points on the bench and have the most points in my league so far by 10 or so. Help me crush these guys, I have the RB crew to play 3 RB's a week and get 60-90 points if they all hit big weeks like they did week 1, just from those three guys. I also have one of the top tight ends and a decent set of WR's.

Let me know......

Cliffs:

Who should I drop to get a Defense, and what Defense should I do?

Looks like you might have the best RB bunch in your league i Bet

maybe you got sleepy on QB's becuase you took a gamble with Farve and i bet you waive'd Hasselback off free agency... all in all your QB's need help. Make a trade and pull in Eli now before his value rises after week 2

please post your opinion on my question...
