Drop Harry Douglas for a 1-week start in Vick? WHIR

Postby saemick » Thu Sep 16, 2010 9:20 am

I have Cutler as my regular starter, but Vick has a GREAT matchup. I'm in a keeper league and my "worst" player is Douglas (like my WR6). Is it worth me dropping him to start Vick this week? Or should I just roll with Cutler?

Depends on what you have behind Cutler.

Vick is a pretty decent Specualtive add, if Kolb's concussion lingers and Vick performs well (DET this week, JAX the next I believe) you may have a valuable trade piece.

As you said Douglas holds basically no value.

I currently have stafford behind Cutler...but have until week 8 to find a bye week replacement. Hopefully by that time Stafford will be healthy.

I think Vick has starting for later in the season.

Meanwhile Douglas has little value and if anything happens, you could probably pick him back up again really easily.

Vick IMO.
