Peterson for Foster and Wayne

Postby atcstudent » Thu Sep 16, 2010 10:00 am

I was offered this trade this morning, it's kinda tempting. I could use a little help at WR, but I'm not totally buying the hype of Arian Foster. Anyway, any help is appreciated!

Wow, tough one.

Your WR Corps does look a little suspect after Megatron, but so would your RB lineup w/o AP. As great of a situation as Foster has this year he is NO AP.

So, i always look at it this way, how much do you lose from AP to Foster? 5 pts/game?

How much do you GAIN from Wayne over Meachem, berrian, henderson, etc) - i'd say about the same.

I dont like McCoy especially now that he lost his fullback, and i dont like B Jacobs either. Slaton is useless, but you'd have him as a handcuff to Foster if you pulled this off.

SO, assuming you start 2WR, 2RB and a A Flex RB/WR

Now:

RB: AP
RB: McCoy
WR: Johnson
WR: Meachem
FL: Jacobs

After:

RB: Foster
RB: McCoy
WR: Johnson
WR: Wayne
FL: Jacobs

I'm thinkin Team 2 is better.

Good luck man.
