12 Team League. We start 2 QBs and get .5 PPR, otherwise standard scoring QBs: Stafford, Fitzpatrick, Collins RBs: Charles, Mendenhall, Best, Starks, Carter, Karim WRs: D. Jackson, Marshall, S. Smith, Green, TE: Hernandez, Cook
I am also very interested to see what people say here (as a Foster owner). Charles has a pretty sweet schedule, and if you are trading Foster, do it within the next 3 days, as the hyp-o-meter couldn't be stronger. That being said, Charles will share a wee bit with TJones. I think in my league, if I was asking for Charles in exchange for Foster, I might even grab a WR3 with upside (Harvin or Bryant?) If you can get that (assuming that would help your team), my gut says do the deal...otherwise, stick with Foster.
I agree to keep Foster. Watch the replays. Arrian Foster was patient and waited for his blocks to develop before breaking out for long runs. Thats an excellent sign of a smart runner and I think he will do well as defenses continue to focus on shutting down Andre Johnson.
If you do think the first game was a fluke then trade him now because his value wont ever be higher (assuming it was a fluke)
I am a Charles owner and tried to do something like this before the season started. I knew it wouldn't get done once the season rolled out. I think that Foster's hype train will slow down a bit but I see no reason to trade him other than upgrading for a top 5 back right now. On a side note people are still a bit down on Charles, don't undersell him. He will be a monster this year, just might have a few games where you'll see 30 yards from him.
no - foster is the back for houston and will get the bulk of the carries plus goal line. charles has done everything he can to show that he is deserving a shot but haley will not give it to him despite tearing it up last year. but charles was the last choice for KC and it seems as though he is not the first choice this year seen from the heavy involvement of jones. stick with foster but charles definitely has more upside but is limited by his coaching staff.
No. For all the reasons listed above. Charles is electric, but he is on a team that still has not established themselves as an offensive powerhouse. And Thomas Jones is still around. HOU is an offensive powerhouse, and Foster is the clear-cut workhorse for the running game.
