We start 2 RBs in my league and I have Arian Foster starting for sure, so that leaves Forte and Matthews.
Forte had a great week one, but that was mainly through receiving yards. The running game didn't look so solid. But his constant looks in the passing game is intriguing me... Is MIke Martz going to make him the Marshall Faulk of this offense? Or was week 1 a little bit fluke-ish? I don't like this matchup against the Cowboys either, whereas..
Matthews has a nicer matchup vs the Jags. This rookie was really impressive in the preseason and continued to impress even in Week 1.. until he fumbled and got benched in the 4th. That kinda worries me. But you have to consider the fact that it was in bad weather and the Chargers were down 2 TDs and they were forced to pass. They have a cakewalk schedule if you take a look at it for the next few weeks. They'll be leading in most games IMO and there will be a lot of Matthews running the ball to burn the clock. I think this week vs the Jags is one of those weeks.
I'm leaning Matthews right now. I wanna see Forte have another good week before I place him int he starting lineup... Am I making the right choice?

If anything, I think you definitely should start Matthews, and then it would be a toss up between Foster and Forte for the second RB spot. Matthews first week game was not an accurate perception of his running abilities. He was playing his first NFL game in downpour in a tough environment (Arrowhead stadium). Rain typically hurts the offense. I would give Foster the edge over Forte. Houston's O-Line and blocking looked great against the Colts. I didn't watch the Bears week 1 game, but I did see that a big chunk of Forte's fantasy points came from like a 80 yard TD run. Without that play (which looked like bad coverage), Forte would have had a really average fantasy game.

Yeah that's who I'm going with right now. Matthews and Foster... unless someone can make a good argument for Forte. I asked two other guys if I should start Matthews or Forte and they actually said Forte....

I'd try and sell high on Forte, he's not going over 150 yards rec. on a weekly basis (and managed only 50 yards on the ground on 17 (I think) carries vs the Lions at home), do yourself a favor - look at his playoff (week 14-16) schedule - it's absolutely brutal... I digress, that's for antoher forum/topic.
But, that said, I'd roll Mathews at home vs JAX over Forte @ Dallas.
Kate Upton's Husband - dead Mr. Blonde - champ Yo Soy Fiesta - dead Old South - champ Full of Fanta Tonight - champ Sex Panther (SB) - dead Sex Panther (FF) - dead Sex Panther (IBL) - dead Sex Panther (Dynasty) dead
There's no reason to start forte, look at the defense he is going against, they are significantly better. Hell even Clifford Franklin could catch a ball against that team
Roll the kid at home. Forte had his biggest game of the season last week. He won't even come close to those numbers again for the rest of the season. The bears O line has done nothing to improve from last season....Martz makes things worse in Chicago not better in my opinion.
I like Forte, but not this week and not over Matthews. Matthews looked great until the fumble. It was a rain game and the KC D isnt as shiesty vs the run this year. THey got Derrick Johnson roamin around back there and he's finally livin up to his hype (he was actually the guy who tracked Matthews down for the strip).
Matthews all the way...i'd trade Forte for Matthews straight up...but i already have both so..heh.
GOod luck and thanks for the help w/ mine
