Mike Tolbert, has anyone seen Mike Tolbert? (guess it doesn't work as good as Mike Hunt :-b )
Anyhooo, Tolbert could be a very effective dirty rotten TD vulture. 1 yd TD run for the bulldozer.

Rut Row

Ryan Mathews was carried off the field Sunday after injuring his ankle late in the first quarter.

Mathews could put no weight on the injured leg, so it could potentially be a serious sprain. The Chargers will move forward with a committee of Mike Tolbert and Darren Sproles. Don't expect Mathews to rejoin the action. He was carted to the locker room, and finished with 56 yards on seven touches. Sep. 19 - 4:47 pm et

After getting carted off the field in the first quarter, Ryan Mathews has retuned to the Chargers sideline, still clad in pads.

It still remains to be seen whether the rookie will re-enter the game, but the fact that Mathews isn't in street clothes bodes well for his outlook.
