I play in a yahoo standard scoring 12 team league. This week I am trying to decide if I should stick with Chicago @ Dallas as my defense or drop them and pick up one of the following teams: Atlanta playing Arizona, Carolina playing TB, San Francisco playing NO, or Oakland playing St. Louis. Which team would you pick up or would you stay with Chicago? Leave a link and I will help in return.
My roster is below: QB: Romo, Palmer RBs: J. Charles, Matt Forte, Brandon Jackson, LT WRs: A. Johnson, Miles Austin, Dexter McCluster, Brandon Loyd, Laurent Robinson TE: J. Finley, Visanthe Shiancoe K: Neil Rackers DEF: Chicago IDP: Karlos Dansby
Well i'd definitely not play CHI @ DAL this week. Carolina might be without top cb and a couple others this week. Definitely not SF vs. NO. OAK @ STL might be a decent play. ATL vs. ARI is an ok option. So i'd go either with ATL or OAK defense this week.
1QB, 2RB, 2WR, 1 WR/TE, K, DEF Standard 12-Man Auction League 9-3 Record
QB - C. Newton, J. Flacco RB - R. Rice, M. Jones-Drew, M. Tolbert, C.J. Spiller, D. Karim WR - L. Fitzgerald, W. Welker, J. Graham, L. Moore K - S. Gostkowski DEF - Jets, Titans
I have the 49ers & Bears, both with really tough matchups. I always play the matchups when it comes to Defense's. I grabbed the Panthers over the wire this week and are playing them. They are a top 8 play at home this week vs Tbay. Good Luck
I would probably drop Bears D/ST. However, Panthers D/ST, Raiders D/ST, and Falcons D/ST are all viable options to start this week. I would probably give the slight edge to Falcons D/ST, but any of those are solid upgrades from Chicago.
Of those, I'd pick ATL, simply because they are the best of those defenses, and still have a decent matchup -- DA isn't known for his accuracy, so he could throw a couple of picks. After that, I'd say your best option is OAK.
