P. Thomas or Foster for a WR.....WHIR

Postby Hoosierdad » Sat Sep 18, 2010 9:14 pm

My team in my sig. Made a trade today and got P. Thomas. I would like to upgrade my WRs. A team in the league had Grant, so he's looking for a RB. Here's his team:

RBs: Brown, LT, Jacobs, Lynch, Hillis
WRs: AJ, Fitz, Boldin, Edwards, Crayton

My WRs are kind of week now (I traded MSW). But having depth at RB is good in our league. Anyway, I think I could trade this guy Thomas for Boldin, pretty much straight up. He might also want one of my lower WRs for some depth. Of, I could try and trade him Foster for AJ. Not sure he would go for that, but which should I offer:

1) Thomas/Williams (Seattle) for Boldin
2) Foster/Knox for AJ

Or some other combination? Part of me says wait and see what happens tomorrow and hope that Greene does better than LT. That would make him realize his RBs are lousy even more.

Leave a link.

I'd rather have PT then Boldin regardless of his week 1, just too injury prone. If that guy would trade you AJ for Foster straight up or w/ Knox in it you should have done it yesterday if you know what I mean :)

Thanks. I haven't offered him anything yet. He's just sent me an email what my RBs would be worth. He knows he needs one. Trying to figure out what would help me the most.

2QBs, 2RBs, 3WRs, 1TE, K, D.

That's why I figure I could turn a RB into a WR I can start every week without looking at match-ups.

Yep, no doubt. Just plug Caddy in or play the waivers as the season progresses....good luck!

Thanks for your help on mine.

I would only the offers where you believe you have the most (for sure) to gain TODAY and wait until after this week on all others.

He'd be foolish to give you Foster/Knox now ...but you'd be foolish to give up AJ if Foster was a one week wonder. Time will tell and do you want to be the fool?

I like both trades alot, you improve your starting line-up tremendiously with either....i'm big on boldin this year, so i think you'd be okay with either trade, just pick which rb you want more.....i'd personally rather give up foster, so i'd go with that one, but i don't think you could go wrong with eaither trade.

I'd say the foster/knox for johnson trade would be great for you. You need some help at WR and can only start 2 rbs anyways. Matthews and Thomas are both solid backs and Foster's trade value is through the roof right now. Strike while the iron is hot and don't look back. Infact don't look anywhere except at your sexy, sexy, new wr.
