Couldn't help picking him up. Now I've got to decide if I want to roll with him right away. Has a nice matchup, to be sure. And he seems like he'd have extra value in PPR. Here are the choices:
League 1: 12-team, PPR, start 2
McCoy (@ DET) Best (vs PHI) Forte (@ DAL) Bradshaw (@ IND) B Jackson (vs BUF) Hightower (@ ATL)
Hightower may be in line to score lots of points if Wells doesn't play again. But with lots of other good options, I'll likely keep him on the bench. Best and Forte have tough matchups ... I'm thinking of leaving them on the bench too. Which leaves 3 guys for 2 spots: McCoy, Bradshaw, and BJax. All have really nice matchups. All score very nicely in PPR (in fact, you'll notice I tend to accumulate receiving RBs in these leagues). But I have to leave one on the bench. Who do you like? Of course, if you prefer one of the 3 I wasn't considering, let me know.
League 2: 8-team, 0.5 PPR, start 3
SJax (@ OAK) Foster (@ WAS) Addai (vs NYG) Moreno (vs SEA) Forte (@ DAL) B Jackson (vs BUF)
I'm thinking SJax and Foster are must-starts. As with the other league, Forte looks like a bench this week. Which leaves Addai, Moreno, or BJax for the last spot. Thoughts?
On your first team; I'd definitely start Bradshaw, just too good of a match up. Then It's really a toss up between Jackson and McCoy; I don't think you can go wrong with either one. McCoy is a better PPR bet, just because we've seen him do it; where as Jackson probably has the best match up as far as running goes in the entire league this weekend. Tough choice; but after seeing what Forte did to the lions, I see McCoy having a pretty nice day, so I'd start him.
I agree on your second team; S Jax/Foster are starters. Then I would go with Brandon Jackson! Easiest match up of the three, and probably would get more carries than the others. Gl!
I agree with you and definitely have to pick from the three you did. Bradshaw: I liked his runnig last week, and we saw what Foster did, but so did Indy. McCoy: I like him (and anybody) playing the Lions D, good PPR value on top. B Jackson: #1 (and really only) RB in a high powered offense. Downside is in a PPR, once GB gets ahead, probably less passing and more handoffs for his touches. So in your league I probably start McCoy and Bradshaw, but they all have good upside.
Team 2:
Little easier in my opinion. Addai didn't impress last week, and if Indy doesn't fix the run D this week, Colts pass heavy O gets more pass heavy. Dallas is a better defense than people think, certainly better than Detroit, and limits Forte. Moreno is still up in the air for me this season, I'd want another week to watch him before I started him, plus the Hawks D limited Gore to some ridiculously low yardage, I get they were ahead, but Gore is still good for check downs and screens and is the center of the offense, less than if they weren't so far behind, but the game did start 0-0. So I would like to see the Hawks D play on the road this week before I evaluate their fantasy impact or lack thereof.
I go with Bradshaw for sure and then I think GB is up early and hands the ball to Jackson to see what he can do as a feature back, giving him potential for a huge day.
Therefore, I roll with B. Jax on the second team as well. GL!
