Demaryius Thomas vs. Mike Williams (TB)

Mike is the #1 receiver for Josh Freeman and put up solid stats in two games.
Demaryius had a big day yesterday after coming back from foot injury and has the better QB in Orton, but competition for throws.

Who will be the better fantasy choice from here on out? non-PPR.

Well both are rookies and most likely won't be totally consistent all year long. Too me Thomas has more upside than Williams. I know that he has competition for catches, but it also helps take some pressure off of him, where Williams could be doubled up and shut down much easier. Good luck.

I'm actually debating the same thing. Both have great upside. The scouting reports said Thomas is big and fast but needed more work on routes (which he supposedly looked good with yesterday) while Williams has great after the catch ability but difficulty getting separation. Williams also has a well documented history of mental lapses. For that reason, Thomas seems like the safer pick.

if i had to choose now, its mike williams. he is the main guy in tampa. havent seen enough of thomas since he has been hurt plus will have to share with royal, gaffney, and to an extent lloyd.

I'm going with Thomas myself with my likely-#1 waiver pick this week, although it's a bit of a moot point as Williams was scooped up last week.

That being said, I'd still favor Thomas over Williams despite his limited play time thus far. I like his QB better, and as another poster mentioned, the other receivers on his team may take some of the attention off of him.
