We're not required to start a TE in our league. Tony Gonzalez hasn't done much so far so I'm wondering if I should drop him and pickup somebody else or if he will be worth holding on to. Demaryius Thomas and Kevin Walter are currently available.
Thoughts?

I think that I may grab Thomas right now, they don't have a true #1 in Denver and if healthy he could be a beast. I don't think that Walter is a option for you really, he would sit on your bench and doesn't have the upside that Thomas has. Good luck.
I would try to trade him first because he has a big name but he isn't what he use to be. He isn't a big role in the atl offense anymore, I wouldn't want him
I'd probably go ahead and drop him for Thomas purely on upside. Kevin Walter has had a couple good weeks here, but I don't expect him to exceed 1000 yards or 6 TDs when all is said and done. Thomas has the upside of gaining 1000 yards and over 6 TDs, however, so I think you have to take a (small) risk here and drop Gonzalez for him.
I'd drop him if I was in your shoes. As far as Thomas v. Walter ... I'd probably lean towards Thomas at this point, I think the Broncos really want to feature him - he had the same # of receptions as Royal/Lloyd combined - and he seems healthy. Walter is tempting after this week, but the Texans just have so many weapons (Johnson, Foster, Jones, Daniels, Slanton) that he's unlikely to be a consistent producer every week. And since it's a backup spot I think it's worth the (slight) risk!
i'd keep gonzalez, no point this early at the season, but if you want to dump him, i'd go thomas then walter as thomas has more upside and walter has some nice weeks but gets lost in houston offense quite a bit
