Drop M. Bush for Hillis or Tolbert? WHIR

Postby chcbb » Mon Sep 20, 2010 9:23 am

With McFadden running well I'm hesitant to keep M. Bush as my RB4 (First 3 are CJ2K, J. Charles & C. Benson) ...
I know McFadden always has injury concerns, but so does Bush at this point, and as long as McFadden is producing I don't see the Raiders using Bush very heavily... Hillis on the other hand seems to be getting decent touches & scoring opportunities. He's about the best RB left on the FA list for now in my league... EDIT - Tolbert is also available on the FA list... is he a better pickup than Hillis?

My league starts 2RB and one flex, so I'd really only use him in a bye week w/ a good matchup, or w/ injuries, as I have a few of decent WRs (Floyd, MSW, Bowe) to fill the flex too.

Hillis seems to be getting a lot of the scoring opportunities, so he could be a good fill on bye weeks. I agree with your take on Bush. I'd go for it.

tollbert you have to wait and see on ryan matthew's injury. if mathew's is hurt for a couple of weeks could be nice pick up for short term.

peyton hillis i think will be splitting carries all season with jerome harrison

so what i am saying is you have to see what injury report says on mathews and whether you want short term boost or more consistent but less week to week gain in hillis
please help my team

I still like Bush more than both. Though I hate seeing McFadden do so well. I think Tolbert is just a fill in for now.

I you were sick of Bush, no pun intended, I would drop him for Hillis.

Bump for update:
So now they're saying Mathews has a high ankle sprain and will be out Sunday, possibly longer...

does this make dropping M. Bush and picking up Tolbert seem like a better option now?

If you need a win this week, I might make the move. However, I think in the long run, Bush has more value.
