1 trade, 1 WW Question. WHIR!!!

Postby RBManiac » Wed Sep 22, 2010 5:11 pm

please, im not looking for just a Yes or NO answer. I always answer replies with detailed explainations to my advice.

LEAGUE 1: 2 QB PPR LEAGUE(3 Keepers) - 10 teams

Im about to offer Anquan Boldin for Mike Vick. REMEMBER...We have to Start 2 QBs, and this is a 3 player Keeper League in its 15th year.

QB Cutler
QB Bradford
RB DWill
RB PT
WR/RB Timmy HighTower/Stewart
WR Austin
WR Boldin
WR Jennings
WR/TE Mike Williams
TE Celek
k Hartley
D Philly

Bnch\

Huggins
Keiland Williams
Mercedes Lewis
Louis Murphy
Johnny Knox
J. Stewart

As you can see...i can mix and match starting 3-5 WRs 1-2TEs
I have solid depth all over the place, and the only thing missing is a QB.

I see Vick as a potential Keeper.

Should i offer Boldin for Vick? The owner already has Palme, Schaub, and Big Ben, but is severely Lacking at WR...his best guy is Wallace!!!, and thats why he is 0 -2.

Losing Boldin worth Vick???

LEAGUE 2

Non PPR, QBS get 1pt per 10 yards passing and 6pt TDs(DONT ASK, i dont run it)

QB Rodgers
RB McCoy
RB Foster
WR Miles Austin
WR Sims - Walker
WR/TE Smith
TE Witten
k Tynes
d Saints

Bnc

Jahvid Best
Jammal Charles
Darren McFadden
Knox
Mike Williams
Dustin Keller
Eli Manning

I know...Sick right?
Demaryius Thomas is Free to Add on waivers. Should i Drop Johnny Knox or Mike Willaims to get him???

NOTE: WE CAN ONLY OWN 5 WR, 5RB, 3 QB, 3 TE, 3 K, 3 DEF
I really Dont want to drop williams to be honest.

On your first one, the question is, does Vick over Bradford overcome the difference between Boldin and your other Wrs? I say it does. I think Vick will put up some darn good numbers the rest of the way.

On your second one, I don't think I would drop either Knox or Williams. Especially Williams. Could Thomas outscore Knox this year? Sure. But Cutler is playing well, and Knox could easily explode for big numbers just as easy as Thomas.

help?

On your first one...Yes! If you can pull it off grab Vick. Definitely would be good in a 2 QB league!
I would just stay put on your 2nd one....your team looks great! Help with mine please:

I would trade Boldin too especially Vick is 'playing out of his mind right now'. i like boldin but I just dont see the Ravens all of a sudden become a pass happy team, besides they have 3 very good receivers.

second question, i would keep mike williams from tampa and drop mike williams from seattle.

please help answer mine.

the first one is easy. absolutely trade boldin for vick. vick is going to put up solid numbers, and since you start 2 qbs, it will be much more productive to play vick each week over bradford.

on the 2nd one, i would wait to see what thomas does this week. i'm ready to buy in on him too, but i'm waiting to see how he performs sunday. hopefully, if he is clicking with orton again, you can scoop him up. if you get points for return yds, it might be hard to drop knox. and i would absolutely not drop the tampa williams for the seattle one. what??? anyway, in the end, if thomas puts up good numbers again, i guess the one to drop would be knox. williams is a fave red zone target so far.

dude, i was responding to the guy who suggested above me that you drop one williams for another. he must not have read your post right. a word of advice: don't criticize those who are offering you advice. that comment wasn't even for you, if you would please read it again.

Boldin would not be a keeper for you anyways but it is closer to me than what I think the other posters think. Baltimore is not as bad as they have show on offense and Boldin should get some numbers. I think the only reason I am saying do the deal is that you have KNox back. If it was Murphy only, I may pass on the deal. As it stands, yes, make the deal for Vick.

Part 2... no, I don't make either of those drops for Thomas.
