WHIR roddy white and steven jackson for T.O. and forte

Postby the prize fighter » Wed Sep 22, 2010 8:40 pm

my roster Roster:
QB: Philip Rivers
RB: Frank Gore, Matt Forte, Jonathan Stewart, "burner turner"
WR: Dwayne Bowe, Anquan Boldin, Lee evans, jacoby jones
TE: Zach miller

we start: QB, 2 RB, 2 WR's, RB/WR flex, TE, K, DEF... PPR league

Now I know what your thinking this is a know brainer but, Forte is the third highest RB in my league because it's a PPR leauge. i know i'm upgrading in WR by far but its still steven jackson, and i don't know how good he'll be this year or if he'll get in the endzone with that rams offenese... WHIR thanks.

I like this trade for you since Jackson is also involved in the passing game. The upgrade from Bowe to Roddy White is pretty hefty whereas the dropoff from Forte to SJax is not as bad. I do agree with the lack of goal line carries being worrisome so I understand your apprehension.

Yes, definitely. Steven Jackson should get better through the year, and Roddy White is a beast, and the only real target for Matt Ryan in ATL. You should definitely do this trade. Steven Jackson will eventually get you the points you need, and the void of forte, in your PPR will be filled with Roddy White. He had 13 receptions his first game (i think).

Help?

Caveat: I had Forte last year and was totally annoyed with him.
That being said, I think you definitely make this move. You are selling Forte very high and you are getting Roddy White for just about nothing. White is a monster and will get a lot of catches (especially important since you are in a PPR).
