Can I Afford This E.Manning to P.Manning Upgrade?

Postby pmstick » Wed Sep 22, 2010 8:51 pm

My E.Manning and Benson for his P.Manning...can my RBs take the hit? I have Kareem Huggins and Bernard Scott (who I think may end up splitting with Benson or even taking over in Cincy by year's end).

Can I afford to make this trade? Huge risk with Huggins/Charles. Maybe wait for the next three weeks as Benson has nice matchups and sell-high...

Here's my team:
QB Flacco
RB Peterson
RB Charles
WR Boldin
WR Wallace
Flex Benson
TE Gates
DEF Jets
K Akers

Bench
QB E. Manning
WR Knox
WR M.Thomas
RB B.Scott
RB Huggins
WR McCluster
TE Grisham

I think you can afford this if you can. You already have AP and he will definitely step it up. Best case scenario is that after this trade, wait for Flacco to gain some value after this past dismal week and try and trade him for a RB upgrade.

Take it. Put Knox in your flex and you have to expect Charles to step it up at some point. Also, gives you a roster spot to find a upside player on the roster (grab the backup WAS runningback maybe).
