Which WR/TE has the biggest upside?

Postby markulous » Wed Sep 22, 2010 10:25 pm

PPR league, 1 pt. per 20 yards. 3 point bonus at 100 yards and every 50 thereafter. 6 pt. TDs. TEs/WRs the same. We start 2 RBs 3 WRs/TEs and 1 Flex spot.

Who has the most upside this year? The person would be riding the bench as the 5th WR unless they broke out.

Brent Celek
Vincent Jackson
Greg Camarillo
Kevin Walter
James Jones
Mike Thomas
Devery Henderson
Lance Moore

I have Celek right now I'm just looking for a better option possibly.

I could easily see Jackson not even playing the entire season, so you might want to read up on him and decide for yourself. He has the most talent there but if you're off the field for the whole year, talent means nothing. I personally like Celek

Brent Celek - With Vick there I'd say no, Kolb looks for him more it seems
Vincent Jackson - Won't play this season.
Greg Camarillo - Only TE and B. Marsh opens up the middle for him
Kevin Walter - Not sure how Daniels playing more effects his value, my bet is it goes down
James Jones - at best a 3rd option on GB
Mike Thomas - Love Mike Thomas, could have a big year
Devery Henderson - too many options
Lance Moore - see above.

I would go with Thomas or Camarillo, although TE's tend not to get targeted as much, and especially in MIA. So make that Thomas or Walter, as Houston still chucks it quite a bit, and he looks like he's getting more looks then Jacoby Jones.
