*WHIR* Celek or Hernandez

In a .5 PPR league.

Been getting burned with Celek now that Vick is starting. Hernandez had a breakout game last week, but will it continue? Your thoughts please.

I have Celek and Daniels, and Hernandez is a FA in my league, so I know how you're feeling.

Brady really never depends on his TEs much for receiving. Even during the record breaking 2007 season, TE Ben Watson had less than 400 yards. Watson had a small handful of good games, but that was it.

On the other hand, I don't trust Vick passing the ball either, but do remember that he loved throwing to Crumpler back in Atlanta.

Long term, I think Celek will have better numbers. This weekend though, the Pats are facing the Bills in what will probably be a blowout. Since Celek isn't getting many targets from Vick yet, I might just gamble and start Hernandez this weekend, and see how it goes.
My Roster
QB - Tebow, Flacco
RB - Peterson, Blount, Lynch, Helu, K. Hunter
WR - Nicks, Maclin, V. Cruz, James Jones
TE - Gates
K - Kasay
DST - Giants

I agree. I think Hernandez is up and coming. Like was said before, Brady depends on TEs when he's pressured, and loves to get rid of the ball fast. I think you take a chance on him. Celek is like a rollercoaster, you just never know when he's gonna have a good game. And Vick will use his legs before he dumps it to a TE.

Thanks for the help on mine.

I also have celek & Daniels, and am thinking of dropping one for hernandez (Daniels?)... Would this be a dumb move? I just feel like brady likes utilizing the TE and has a lot of confidence in Hernandez... Could translate into big numbers, especially when D's have to focus on Moss/welker...as seen in the jets game

For this week, I would go with B. Celek. M. Vick has had great production with his TEs in the past, and although he didn't connect with B. Celek that much in week 2, that may change against Green Bay D/ST. A. Hernandez is definitely rising in potential, and could definitely be the choice down the road.
