Addai/Harvin for Caddy/Jennings....WHIR

I'm looking for some RB help. Here's the other guys team:

His Team
RBs: S. Jackson, Addai, Slaton, C. Taylor
WRs: Austin, Harvin, Breaston, Meachem

My team is in my sig. I'm hurting at RB. I don't trust Mathews (both this week and to some degree, even when he gets healthy). The other guy is worried about his WRs after Austin. He offered me Addai for Jennings straight up. I actually like Addai this year, but not straight up for Jennings. But what about the trade above? I don't know why he was offering me Addai since his next best RB is Chester Taylor. Maybe he has another deal going. Would I be dumb in doing this? I don't really trust Harvin, but if he gets his migraines squared away and favre gets untracked, he could have some upside.

I disagree that you are hurting at RB. Matthews having not been a feature back is disappointing. But week over week I would just as confident starting him (assuming he is healthy) over Addai. Giving up Jennings is a panic move. And if you give him up I would wait until he blows up (i.e. this week. Driver historically is brutal against the Bears) before fielding offers for him as I think he is worth more than Addai.

I am not saying don't trade for an upgrade, but this deal I don't like.

I would say a Knox/Williams deal is interesting for Addai. He keeps his depth a RB and gets a WR2.

I have to agree with above. Jennings is worth more than Addai especially with the crap backfield they have now. Gives them even more reason to pass, which the oc there loves. And with rodgers flinging it its a sure win. A knox/williams trade is very interesting. I feel addai is worth more there. Don't forget harvin has a hip problem now too

Yea i agree i dont like this deal at all and you should offer the one Woods posted above.. i dont like this deal because the viks just look awful, i dont believe farve will have a good year and their entire left side of their offensive line is HORRENDOUS.. Harvin is constantly battling injuries and i would much rather go with the inconsistant but deadly jennings.. Addai is a very talented rb to have but gotta remmember that donald brown is starting to creep up with him and will gain more carries as the season goes on. Caddy is the lone back, although injury prone will continue to play as a solid rb. Dont do the deal and see if you can work out a deal similiar to woods proposal.. hope this helps..

I wouldn't take this trade. Addai is going to get less and less with Brown slowly taking over. Harvin will probably never be what he could be (which hurts me to say because I'm a Gator). Jennings has the potential, just Rodgers has way too many targets in GB. I would always start Jennings over Harvin, and put Addai on the bench with your current RBs.
