Mendenhall @ Tampa Bay
Best @ Minnesota
Pierre Thomas vs Atlanta

All three are getting the bulk of the carries now. Hard to sit Best with his performance so far, but I'd like to think my Vikes will focus on shutting him down. Atlanta has given up a lot of yards to RB's so far and with Bush out I like PT here. Mendy has a decent matchup with TB, but again he may be the focus of the defense.

I would still probably take Best and Mendy despite Best's match up.

Atlanta has a good defense

I still like Jahvid Best. He was thrown to 14 times last week. With Stafford out, Shaun Hill will continue to look for him, especially if they can't move the ball on the ground.

The problem with Pierre (who is a good play with Reggie hurt), is that you never know what the Saints gameplan will be. He might see 5 carries, he might see 20. Chances are he'll get goalline looks, but the Saints are a pass team first.

You gotta ride the Best train until it goes cold (cuz he's on fiiyah!) and Pierre cuz Bush is out and the Saints are putting more emphasis on the run this year.

Gotta Be BEST for sure, 14 targets last week? You can't shut down a multithreat in 1 weeks prep time. he'll tear it up im sure. Pierre will do just fine too. Saints running mroe this year and no Reggie.

Though Best had a huge day and has huuuuge upside, I agree with you about Minny D shutting him down...Rookies are pretty inconsitent as well.

PT should catch more passes with Bush out.
