3 Q's on a big PPR trade... definite WHIR

Postby dpav25 » Thu Sep 23, 2010 11:22 am

I just traded Turner and Gaffney yesterday for Roddy White. We get 1 ppr in our league. I'm looking to make a trade with a person in my league who is lacking a RB. I put our 2 line ups next to each other and listed my questions below. Thanks in advance for any response.

MY QB: RIVER HIS QB: SCHAUB
MY RB1: SJAX HIS RB1: GORE
MY RB2: MCCOY HIS RB2: MIKE BUSH
MY WR1: COLSTON HIS WR1: BOLDON
MY WR2: TO HIS WR2: LEE EVANS
MY WR/RB: RODDY WHITE HIS WR/RB: CRABTREE
MY TE: CLARK HIS TE: CELEK

Bench: Demaryius Thomas, MSW, Flacco, Bench: Cassel, Nate Washington,
Cadillac Williams, Mike Williams, Edelman, Sidney Rice, Kevin Faulk
Mike Tolbert

I'm going to offer him SJax, Cadillac, plus a WR for Gore and a WR.

Q1: is this trade worth it?

Q2: In a sane and realistic world, which wide receiver should I ask for to accompany Gore?

Q3: Which WR should I offer excluding Colston and Roddy?

Not really. Im already getting the upgrade to gore who scores TDs unlike jackson. I was looking at whether I should grab crabtree, lee evans, or risk stashing rice. I feel boldin and gore are a bit of a reach, agreed? And who should I dish out, TO, MSW, Mike Williams (tb), or DTom. Im looking for the best value.

yea. i personally don't like crabtree or lee evans at all(expecially lee evans), so i'd stash rice...but if you like crabtree, he could be a good buy low.....and i'm not really sure who you should give away, they all are about the same value, just give away the guy you like least, or ask him what guy he wants, its really hard to rank those 3 guys, and we don't know what you have with D.tom., i'd hold on to him another week atleast, he could be awesome.....i say just ask him what player he wants, for sidney/gore, you'd be winning eaither way.

i would first try to package colston and one of your other wrs for boldin/gore, doubt he does it, but worth a try.

sorry i couldn't be more help, but i think those 3 guys are similar value right now.

I'm not sure I would do a whole bunch to help his team. He's hurting. I don't see any of his WRs helping you much (if I'm reading the rosters right) other than Boldin. You can try for him, but I don't think he'll do that. So offer him Jackson and Williams for Gore. See what he says. But what RB depth would you have?

help?
